IMTC – BENGALURU

Started way back in the 1940s, by stalwarts of the method – Mr. Joosten and Mr. Swamy, IMTC Bengaluru has been conducting Montessori training courses ever since in a sustained manner.

Today, IMTC is firmly established in Bengaluru in multiple locations – IMTC Bengaluru North, IMTC Bengaluru South, IMTC Bengaluru East, IMTC Koramangala, IMTC Marathalli. Across Karnataka, there are IMTC Tiptur and IMTC Mangalore. Currently, IMTC Bengaluru North is conducting its 91st course, IMTC South its 26th and East 10th Batch. The IMTC Tiptur is conducting the regional language course in Kannada.

Thousands of students have been successfully trained of whom many have gone on to establish Montessori Houses of Children all over Karnataka. About 300 member schools all over the state and around 50 recognized institutions in Bangalore are the result of sustained training activities of IMTC Bengaluru.

IMTC Bengaluru conducts Pre Primary Courses and since 2010, have been conducting Elementary Courses as well.
