This conference was conducted at Kalakshetra Auditorium, Chennai on 13 th October 1989 to commemorate 50 years of Montessori Movement in India. The first Indian Montessori Training course was conducted by Dr.Montessori at Adyar in 1939. It was one of the revolutionary social educational movement that she inaugurated in our country.
