A Graduate in Botany Honours(Delhi University, 1983), Sujata did her AMI Montessori training in the year 1990-91 and is presently a Director with IMC with dreams of “Taking Montessori Training out of Bangalore.”

She had 15 fulfilling years with children in Sishu Griha (a Premier Montessori School in Bangalore) from 1991- 2006 as a Montessori teacher, (4 of them as coordinator for the Pre-primary section).

Post that she got into active independent Montessori consultancy and training in the field of education, especially pre primary section(2006-2012).

From 1999 till 2010, she was an active member of Aastha Foundation for Human Learning and Growth, an organization in the field of process work.

Sujata :

–  set up and ran the course as Administrator of Indian Montessori Training Courses-East from 2012-2016.

–  assisted the Directors and took care of four batches of trainees- training and administration.

–  was the Associate Director of Indian Montessori Training Courses-Gurugram, NCR, from 2016 to 2018, also assisting the Director by taking more sessions.

–  is a consultant with Indian Montessori Centre (Karnataka and Northern India Chapter)

–  engaged in designing and running of the Avalokana Programs by IMC Karnataka and refresher sessions for working Montessorians.

–  was also a consultant with many Montessori and non Montessori schools.

–  has taken sessions for ALL the IMTC training courses over the period of time.
