In the couple of years which went by, the pandemic taught us to adapt to newer ways of life and so IMTC too altered itself to suit the demands of the hour.
During the last two years, Classroom Courses made way to Blended Courses – a successful combination of Online and Classroom learning, to ensure continued training activities.
For 2022-23 academic year, while Blended courses have been announced, the Classroom courses are also likely to be announced soon in some of the centres
Upcoming Courses
This Montessori Primary Course includes the Theory of the Montessori Method including topics such as the role and attitude of the adult, the function of the prepared environment and the means of development. It provides an opportunity to study in-depth Montessori Psychology that deals with the developmental stages of the child, focusing on the years from birth to six, seeing him as the constructor of his own personality. The Practical Demonstration Lectures deals with the four areas - Exercises of Practical Life, Sensorial activities, Language and Arithmetic. Other areas of study include Geometry, Botany, Geography, Science and History. The course comprises 450 hours of online classes of theory and practical demonstration and 150 hours of in-person supervised practice sessions. Practice centres are located at Chennai, Erode, Coimbatore and Thalassery.
