Minimum qualification for admission: Possession of a School Final Certificate (or its equivalent) is essential. It is necessary to have proficiency in spoken and written English. Preference is given to graduates. Applicants must have completed 18 years of age by July 2010.

Prospectus and application form can be had on payment of Rs. 200/- (cash or M.O) payable to Indian Montessori Training Course. Foreign or outstation candidates should make payment by Bank Draft marked "A/C Payee only" favouring Indian Montessori Training Course(N). The application forms will be issued from 1st of March 2010.

Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form with the registration fee, a life sketch (written about oneself of the particulars not given in the application), a medical certificate of good health and fitness and two recent passport/stamp size photographs. Last date for submission of completed forms should be done on or before 31st May 2010.

Lectures will be held on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Practice classes will be held for small groups twice a week between 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Observation in Montessori schools will be arranged. Dress regulations are applicable.

Accommodation: We can help in arranging hostel / paying guest accommodation if informed 30 days prior to admission. Charges vary from place to place.

The Indian Montessori Centre issues diplomas to successful candidates. The Diplomas qualify the holders to apply the Montessori method to children of age 2 ½ to 6 years only but not to train teachers.
