The Indian Montessori Centre has been organizing workshops, conferences, seminars on Montessori-related issues on a frequent basis.

  • 2008. The Untrained Assistant's Programme. The Indian Montessori Centre conducted a one-day programme to familiarize the concepts of the Montessori Method of Education and its significance to the untrained assistants of the different Montessori Houses of Children in Bangalore. The untrained assistants often play a crucial part in the Montessori environment and hence need to be made Montessori aware.

Some of the major conferences conducted are as follows:

  • 2007. Today's Child, a three-day International Congress was held to commemorate the centenary of the first Montessori House of Children 'Casa Dei Bambini' set up Dr. Maria Montessori. The congress was a resounding success with participants from different parts of the country and the world. Over 300 people attended the Congress. Eminent Montessorians, eduacationists, psychologists were among the speakers.
